United Soccer Coaches Convention – Making Connections
Last weekend Demosphere ventured out to the windy city for the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Convention. This annual event is one of the highlights of the year for anyone who’s connected to soccer in the United States.
About The Convention
The event is billed as “The World’s Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches and Administrators”. It’s hosted by United Soccer Coaches and coincides with the US Youth Soccer Workshop. It draws more than 6,300 coaches and over 11,000 attendees. There are more than 250 educational opportunities over the 5 day event. Sessions include live field demonstrations, classroom sessions, networking opportunities, award presentations, and opportunities to earn coaching diplomas. Additionally, the event hosts a massive exhibit hall with over 300 exhibitors.
Demosphere’s Experience
Every year, Demosphere enjoys the exciting whirlwind of client meetings, prospective partner demonstrations and networking with old friends and new. This year the Demosphere team also rolled out its new branding as The Team Behind Team Sports. We had an opportunity to share feedback about our new brand and give away some really cool new “Demoswag”. We also enjoyed showing off our new colors while sharing information about our Club and League Solutions and our latest Association platform.
Furthermore, Demosphere’s Miles Baker and Kris Baker co-presented a joint referee management solution in a closed door session with Dick Triche of Officials Management Group. Several state referee associations were in attendance providing valuable feedback. Demosphere’s newest Officials Management solution will be rolling out to the public at the start of Q2 – we can’t wait to show off our new interface! Contact us to learn more.
