Allan Thompson - Technical Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities: As a Technical Support Specialist, Allan is responsible for providing front-line support to Demosphere's customers for all software support issues related to Demosphere's products and services. Allan and the rest of the Support Team provide support to customers via case management, email, web chat and phone. His other job responsibilities include relaying product feature enhancement requests to Product Managers, QA testing of new product features and versions, as well as creating support documentation and training videos for Demosphere's customers.

And lastly to foster a dynamic and fun work environment where we developers push each other to be the best, rivaling those of much larger teams elsewhere.
Sports Experience: Arild plays soccer Informally with friends and relatives who generally come from countries where it's called "football" :). He also plays with his two sons, 11 and 8, whose years of team play have now given them the skills to embarrass their dad!

Camille Cheatwood - Senior Account Manager

Job Responsibilities: As the Senior Account Manager, Camille is responsible for the management of all of Demosphere's strategic accounts. She oversees all aspects of these accounts including delivery of superior service, gathering and writing specifications for new projects, contract negotiations, and coordination of internal resources as it relates to delivery of products and services. Camille will also be representing Demosphere on the road at various Annual General Meetings, client meetings, and national workshops like the NSCAA Convention.
Sports Experience: Camille was born in Teaneck, NJ and raised in the Poconos in Pennsylvania where she played soccer during her early adolescent years. Upon entering high school, she revisited her soccer passion by playing for the school team. After high school, she attended college while playing recreational soccer with friends. Currently, she enjoys attending the D.C United games and partaking in soccer related activities and events.

Other Information: Camille lives in the Washington, DC suburb of Rockville, MD and is a wife to a wonderful husband (Josh) and stepmother to an amazing little boy (Preston). She loves three-day weekends, high heels, soccer, basketball, running, shopping, sushi, and long walks on the beach.
Carol Baker - Vice President

Job Responsibilities: Ms. Baker has been a Director and served as Vice-President since she co-founded the Company in 1990. Over the years she has led the Company’s sales and marketing efforts in the expanding soccer market, and currently serves as a client relationship specialist in utilization review and as member of the Demosphere sales team.
Soccer Experience: Ms. Baker has participated as a volunteer on behalf of a number of nonprofit soccer organizations at the team, club, tournament, league and state levels; she played soccer in a women’s league and co-founded both Soccer News Network and the Washington Soccer Net. Ms. Baker also penned a weekly soccer column as 'Miss Conduct,' which brought together two of her passions, Shakespeare and soccer defending the sport and the sport’s officials in her 'Column for the Better.'
Greatest Demosphere Moments: Highlights include attending the 1998 FIFA World Cup Final and 3 Tenors Concert in Paris, visiting FIFA House in Zurich and attending an AC Milan game at San Siro Stadium, however the greatest moments of all have been witnessing the unbridled happiness and joy of children playing recreation soccer.

Feras El-Kanouni - Technical Support Specialist

Sports Experience: Like the other boys in his Tripoli neighborhood, Feras was born ready to take his position on the asphalt turf: Attacker No. 9. He still lives and breathes soccer, but back then it consumed his very being. He worked his way up from barefoot, street soccer, to the Varsity team in High School, to playing Semi-Pro with Al-Ittihad FC. He is a die-hard, life-long Juventus FC fan. Forza Juve!

Other Information: Feras is father to an amazing son. They spend quite a bit of time playing competitive games (including soccer) because they both have a desire to emerge victorious! This can lead to the funniest, nonsensical arguments! Feras sees himself in his son sometimes, especially in his active desire to understand how things work. He can already do very simple things like reset the modem and enter in network keys!

Job Responsibilities: Greg is Demosphere’s Graphics Director, having joined the team in 2006. He is responsible for conducting initial design consultations on new accounts. In addition, his responsibilities also include the concept and design of graphics for all new accounts, as well as the management and design of all company-wide marketing materials.
Soccer Experience: Greg played soccer through High School and then played recreationally from his college years on. He currently plays on both Men’s and Co-ed teams in the DC area through NVSL and NVASA.

Dannelle Lewandowski - Account Representative

Job Responsibilities: As Account Representative, Dannelle is part of the Demosphere Sales Team, responsible for bringing in new clients to the Demosphere family. Dannelle works directly with potential new customers to find the best solutions to help their organizations.
Athletic Experience: Dannelle played Division I Soccer at Monmouth College in New Jersey and also played for ODP (Olympic Development Program). There, she had a chance to play with former U.S. Women's National Team Goalkeeper Briana Scurry. In addition to soccer, Dannelle has experience with basketball, rugby, and softball. Today, she is a U.S. Soccer Federation National "B" licensed coach and coaches with the Roswell Santos Soccer Club.

Jaime Martin - Director of UI/UX

Job Responsibilities: Jaime is a senior developer as well as the product manager for the RosterPro Registration System. He is responsible for several key systems used by national, state, league and club clients, including coding, designing and deploying web applications.
Soccer Experience: Jaime is an avid soccer fan and has been playing in amateur soccer leagues in the DC area for the past 10 years. The leagues include men's and coed, outdoor and indoor. With all the different countries in Jaime's family tree, most of them in Latin America, he has a lot of countries to root for in international competitions. But it's rare that one of his countries makes it to a final. Jaime was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel and work at the following FIFA competitions: 1998 FIFA World Cup France, the Men's Olympic Football Tournament Sydney 2000, and the FIFA U-20 World Cup Argentina 2001.
Greatest Demosphere Moment: Jaime’s greatest moment was jumping out of the way of Maradona, who was running down the hall by the press box in the Stade de France, attempting to avoid reporters, after the quarterfinal match between Italy and France during the 1998 FIFA World Cup France.

Other Information: Jaime and his wife Lori live with their dog, Mina, in Falls Church, VA. Jaime enjoys playing the bass guitar and is currently in a band. Soccer Experience: Jay has coached his children and area youth since 1980.
Other Information: Jay Baker, a leading technology innovator since 1971, has served as Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Demosphere since he co-founded the company in September 1990. During that period, Mr. Baker has been responsible for all strategic planning and oversight of the Company's operations. Jay has been responsible for developing some of the first computer-aided design systems and has nearly 25 years of experience in market segmentation, direct response, and geo-demographic analysis applications. Jay has developed turnkey, state-of-the-art proprietary technology systems to implement and manage each client's on-line property. His technologies have streamlined the content and programming management of web supersites in-house and on the field.
Jay's understanding of sport drives the technology that he and his staff develop, providing the most efficient and effective means of servicing on-line properties. Other Information: Jim got involved with computers back when desktop publishing and home computers started - 1984. He wanted to find a creative way to work and earn a partial living while continuing to support his acting bug and not wait tables (not that there is anything wrong with that!). He got involved with Demosphere after getting to know owners Jay and Carol Baker through acting at the Keegan Theatre.

Kathleen Baker - Director of Administration

Job Responsibilities: Kathleen is responsible for the majority of the banking and billing side of Demosphere. Kris Baker - Vice President, Sales and Services

Job Responsibilities: Kris is responsible for the directing all new Demosphere project implementations. She manages Support Team to coordinates internal resources to help ensure all projects are delivered properly and on time. In addition, Kris is a member of the Demosphere's Executive Committee and manages some of the accounting and Human Resources responsibilities within the organization. Kris also oversees the direction of all custom projects and strategic accounts.
Soccer Experience: Kris’s father is a soccer player, coach, and fan, and thus Kris came out of the womb with a love for soccer. She has been kicking the ball around since she was able to walk and grew up playing FPYC soccer, Fairfax High School soccer, and then on to club soccer at the University of Virginia. Kris now plays in several adult indoor and outdoor leagues in the DC Metro area. Her goal one day is to coach her daughter and son when they are old enough to play.

Kristen Muller - IT Project Manager

Job Responsibilities: Kristen is responsible for coordinating internal communication, documentation, resources, and timelines to ensure all internal development projects happen on schedule and according to plan. This includes managing each project through the entire development lifecycle. Kristen's role in the development lifecycle is one of collaborative planning, documentation of functional specifications for each project, management of deliverables according to the plan, internal collaboration and communication to ensure timelines are met, adaptation of the plan to deal with potential setbacks and managing a planned approach to testing and deployment.
Sports Experience: Kristen played soccer and basketball when she was younger, but enjoys walking, dancing, and yoga these days. On occasion, she plays catch with her dad, pretending to be a major league pitcher with the Red Sox.

Job Responsibilities: As Account Representative, Mike is part of the Demosphere Sales Team, responsible for bringing in new clients to the Demosphere family. Doing everything from online demonstrations to representing the company at youth sports events and trade shows, Mike is engaged at all levels of the sales process.
Soccer Experience: Mike played recreationally growing up in Pleasantville, NY. He also roomed with a member of York's soccer team his freshman year. From there, he got to know and live with a whole bunch of guys on the team throughout his years at York and was a student manager of the team in '04 and '05.
Greatest Demosphere Moment: Getting to know and work with an awesome staff at Demosphere, as well as getting to meet all of our clients at the numerous state workshops we attend. Also, meeting WWE legend IRS on the flight back from the United Soccer Leagues (USL) Annual General Meeting in November, 2009.

Other Information: Mike is an avid sports fan and used to work in the Baltimore Orioles minor league farm system. You can probably find him with his friends at a sporting event, concert, or the beach.
Miles Baker - Vice President, Product Development

Other Information: Mr. Baker has been with Demosphere since April 1997. He is primarily responsible for the development and management of Demosphere’s service products. Mr. Baker is additionally responsible for the initial graphic design and ergonomics of new accounts.
In 1998, Mr. Baker directly supported FIFA On-Line's activities in Paris during World Cup France '98, and was detailed to London to develop the official web site for Manchester United. In 1994, he worked for Home Team Sports (HTS) as an Assistant to the Producer and studio camera operator for the live weekly television show "Soccer '94" which went from a local program in the Washington, D.C. area, to being broadcast live in six different countries during the 26 weeks prior to World Cup USA '94.
In 1993, Mr. Baker was a Criminal Defense Investigator for the Washington, DC District Court system, where he conducted interviews and investigations for criminal cases. Mr. Baker regularly plays in competitive amateur soccer leagues and is an avid DC United soccer fan.
Myles Merrell - Director of Software Engineering

Job Responsibilities: As Director of Software Engineering, Myles designs and develops Demosphere's comprehensive suite of youth sports web applications and other software to implement core product functionality. He also works on new and special development projects as required and oversees the work of all of the other software developers.
Soccer Experience: Myles played soccer in the Washington, DC area until he was twelve. At that point, his slow top speed and large size led his parents to push Myles to lacrosse, where running into someone by "accident" and hitting them with a stick isn't considered poor form. He still loves watching the FIFA World Cup, English Premier League, and MLS games ... and occasionally wonders if his parents made a mistake.

Sam Brody - Senior Technical Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities: Sam provides support for all Demosphere products as well as training and setup for WebWriter and Webmail. He also collaborates with the graphics department for site adjustments and additions for existing clients.
Soccer Experience: Sam was a capable intramural goalie in college, but was far better at dodgeball.
