 Demosphere® is proud to promote America SCORES, which runs the nation's largest urban youth soccer program, serving more than 6,000 students in 14 cities. The nonprofit after-school program combines soccer with poetry and service-learning to inspire students to lead healthy lifestyles, be engaged students, and become agents of change in their communities. Join us for our monthly Maximize Demosphere® Webcast this month! On Wednesday, May 19th at 1:00p ET, Demosphere will present its 14th monthly Maximize Demosphere Webcast. Each month, Demosphere presents a webcast aimed at maximizing some of Demosphere's services. During this month's Maximize Demosphere, we'll discuss how to Market Your Organization in your community. The session will include ways to reach local families and best practices for ensuring your organization is represented effectively, among other topics.  At the end of this month Demosphere® will be attending the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Spring Showcase & AGM in Sarasota, FL. The Academy Showcase events are intended to provide players, coaches and referees with the latest U.S. Soccer resources. In addition to educational seminars and materials provided at the event, U.S. Soccer staff is on hand at all games to provide direct feedback to participants to enhance their educational experience. | Demosphere® Attends JSConf 2010! |
 For the second year in a row, Demosphere's Development Team attended JSConf. The Washington DC-based conference is devoted to the JavaScript programming language. It was an enlightening conference that covered a wide variety of topics. It broadened our minds and captured our imaginations as we each took away ideas about how to enhance our products and better serve our customers. Attending conferences and conducting weekly internal training sessions are an important part of how Demosphere continually strives to improve our skills and learn new technologies. We are committed to utilizing leading-edge technology in a practical and pragmatic way. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to deliver these solutions to your organization! |
| Tip of the Month: Team Game Edit |
| Team Game Edit is a feature used by leagues that have games scheduled by the teams. The original schedule would typically be generated with a date for each game, but without a time or field. Even the date may be blank at first. When option is set to Team 1, then the full admin user and the first-listed team (usually the home team) is able to change the date, time, and location of the game. Options are also available to allow the away team to log comments on the game to facilitate a mutually convenient schedule for the game. When the option is set to Admin Only then only full admin users can use the feature. |
