| Demosphere® Teams up with USSF's D-2 Pro League! |
 Demosphere® is pleased to announce an extension to our partnership with the United States Soccer Federation to handle online registration, game scheduling and statistics tracking for the new U.S. Soccer Division 2 Professional League. The system, accessible through U.S. Soccer's website, will register each team's full roster, while also listing the schedule, results and statistics from nearly 200 games during the 2010 season. Demosphere® is extremely happy to continue our successful work with U.S. Soccer and thrilled to play a part in the continuing evolution and progression of professional soccer in the United States.  In Fort Worth this past weekend while attending the US Youth Soccer Workshop, Demosphere's Marketing Director, Sean Rose (pictured right) caught wind that there was to be a race through the streets of the city. "It just happened to be in town when we were," said Sean. The race turned out to be an annual event known as The Cowtown and Sean, along with Demosphere's VP Carol Baker and USL's Melanie Fitzgerald (pictured right), who runs W-League Operations, ran The Cowtown 5K under a perfect clear-blue Texan sky early Saturday morning. "It was a great way to see Fort Worth," observed Carol.The Cowtown's mission is to "promote good physical fitness in the community, to make a difference with children and with our impact on the world around us."  Demosphere's own Joshua Montross has been spending some of his free time recently assisting Awista Ayub, author of the book, However Tall the Mountain. In the book, Awista details the journey of eight young Afghan women she brought to America to learn to play soccer. Throughout the story, she intertwines accounts of the girls' lives at home in Afghanistan, including their struggles with personal freedom and the consequences of the choices they make.What began with eight young women has exploded into something of a phenomenon. Fifteen teams now compete in an organized league in Kabul, with hundreds of girls participating through the Afghanistan Football Federation.
