First and foremost I would like to wish all new and existing readers of ExtraTime a happy and wonderful New Year! The new year started off just the way Demosphere likes it - meeting and visiting with soccer folk, on both coasts!The New Jersey Youth Soccer Association workshop weekend (January 4-5) opened with a reception and awards dinner, which Demosphere was happy to be on hand for. As always it was a pleasure to meet up with many NJ Demosphere clients in person, while also learning about other remarkable youth soccer organizations and events around the Garden State. At the same time, Demosphere staff ventured to Los Angeles for Soccer Nation Expo 2008 presented by Cal South. | Special Demosphere Events at NSCAA Convention! (Booth #1125) |
 Make plans to attend the NSCAA Convention in Baltimore for special Demosphere events and our drawing to win an authentic Beckham jersey. On Friday, Jan. 18, from 1pm - 3pm, we will be hosting a performance by the world-renowned Futboleros at the Demosphere Booth (#1125). These amazing soccer entertainers will demonstrate gravity-defying soccer tricks and will have their new DVD on sale. On Saturday, Jan. 19, at 11am, Demosphere will lead a workshop entitled: "Harness the Internet Landscape: Bring your Club Website/Registration/Tournament Resources Online!"Then, from 1pm - 3pm at the Demosphere Booth (#1125), former Women's National Team Member Tiffany Roberts will be meeting fans as well as signing autographs. Roberts, now the Co-Head Coach of the Women's Soccer Team at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), also runs the Tiffany Roberts Soccer Academy camp programs each summer. Feel free to stop by to meet this FIFA World Cup Winner and Olympic Gold Medalist! |

| Tip of the Month - Online Registration |
| Many clubs depend on advertising at local schools via flyers and other announcements. Use the registration tool "Registration Counts" to track how many players you are attracting from each school. Use this information to determine how effective your advertising is within each school and identify problem areas where households may not be receiving information, allowing you to redouble your efforts in these areas. |
