July 2011 Workshops
July led the Demosphere to four different events in three different time zones! Lots of traveling for sure.
July 13-14: Elite Clubs National League AGM/National Championships (Denver, CO)
During our time in Denver, Demosphere attended the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the sessions geared towards club administrators. The day-long events got administrators familiar with the processes for the 2011-2012 season. For the second year, Demosphere will provide registration, scheduling, scorekeeping, statistics, and website services to ECNL.
In addition, Demosphere presented a session on "25 Quick Tips for Online Communications Success" that urged administrators to consider a holistic picture of how their organization is portrayed online.

After the AGM, the focus moved to the National Championships held in Aurora. From all reports, the event was extremely successful.
July 16: Louisiana Soccer Association Summer AGM (New Orleans, LA)
Quick on the heels of the ECNL AGM was a day in New Orleans for the Louisiana Soccer Association AGM. Many familiar faces from around the state attended to learn from experienced coaches, referees, and fellow administrators. While this year's event was held near the airport, there's already some early buzz about heading downtown for 2012!
July 22-23: South Texas Youth Soccer Association Summer GBM (San Antonio, TX)
Demosphere was in historic San Antonio for the South Texas Soccer Association's Summer Governing Board Meeting (GBM).
The workshop began with a reception for club and association delegates on Friday evening. Saturday was a full day and opened with a Demosphere presentation on "25 Quick Tips for Online Communications Success" which was attended by many great organizations looking to optimize their online presence.
Afterwards, many associations stopped by the Demosphere booth to learn more about our services. Currently, STYSA uses Demosphere's WebWriter® website system.
Overall, the quick trip to San Antonio proved to be beneficial and we look forward to participating in future GBM's.
July 29-30: Florida Youth Soccer Association AGM (Orlando, FL)
Disney's Coronado Springs hosted the 2011 Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) AGM.
The workshop opened with a vendor exhibition on Friday night that was attended by many of the club representatives who arrived earlier in the day.
On Saturday, a host of sessions took place including two led by Demosphere - a Social Media Extravaganza and 25 Quick Tips For Online Communications Success.
Over the course of both Friday and Saturday, many club representatives stopped by the booth, including FYSA Registrar Tim Smith (middle) and Osceola Youth Soccer Assn. Director of Coaching Larry Ferrol (right) pictured with Demosphere's Sean Rose.
Demosphere's time in Florida is always beneficial - over 40 organizations in the state currently take advantage of Demosphere's tools and hopefully some new organizations will join us in the coming months!
